In the last decade,environmental disasters have become increasingly common. There has been terrible flooding happened in Asia,Africa,America and Oceania.Even Europe has suffered and large areas have been underwater.Storms have been getting worse everywhere,with the US,and Central America was hit by an increasing number of hurricanes.Reduced rainfall has had bad effect on large areas of Africa for years,leaving irrigation canals dry and many other zones are becoming dry.As a threat,volcanic eruptions and earthquakes have stricken certain parts of the world.A volcano eruption has nearly wiped out the small island of Montserrat in 1997,and in many parts of Asia,Europe and South America there have been serious earthquake.Even today Indonesia is still making a recover from the Asian Tsunami caused by an offshore earthquake on December 26th,2004.Nearly 90 million people are born every year,most of them are from the developing countries where homes have shabby construction and in the natural disasters their homes can be easy destroyed.Around half the world’s population lives in cities.More people live at risk in earthquakes.These natural disasters occur at random times and it is not that easy to warn people in advance.

Last Sunday,I went sightseeing with my friends in the Fair Lake Park.1.
